The new B2B online store of Firnrohr Automation is live. In the context of the relaunch, the entire online presence was fundamentally revised. For this purpose, scope01 – internet agency from Frankfurt am Main – developed a new design for the online store and integrated it into a store based on Shopware Professional Edition. The new online store has a wide range of functions and can of course be operated optimally on all devices (desktop, tablet, smartphone). The old webshop could no longer meet these modern requirements for an e-commerce platform.
Firnrohr, based in Arnsberg in the Sauerland region, is the specialist for automation technology, pneumatics and hydraulics. The focus is on the wholesale of products from these areas. In addition, Firnrohr also offers seminars on pneumatics, hydraulics, automation and PLC technology. Customers can now purchase these seminars online for multiple participants. In addition, the company also provides information about trade fairs and events where customers can meet Firnrohr.
Based on Firnrohr’s specifications, our designer Felix Weihnacht developed a new design that represents the company in a fresh and modern way. scope01 performed the setup on the web server, configured the store and integrated the design into the online store. In addition, all necessary Shopware plugins were set up and customized. The administration of the seminars is also done via a plugin. A significant improvement to the previous website is the direct booking of seminars via the online store.
scope01 will continue to develop the new B2B online store Firnrohr Automation together with the customer over the next few months. For example, the connection of the ERP system Büro+ and the display of all products are among the main tasks. In addition, scope01 will integrate an OCI interface for Firnrohr in order to integrate articles into supplier catalogs.
