gardeur is the specialist for pants. Since 1920, the company from Mönchengladbach has been designing and producing high-quality women’s and men’s pants as well as women’s skirts. As a special feature, gardeur combines all development steps from the design to the finished pants in the company. This is because the products are also produced in the company’s own factories. These factors are the basis for the high quality of the products.
The high-quality products have also been offered in an online shop for several years. However, the previous store based on Oracle Commerce Cloud could no longer meet the requirements of customers and operators. For this reason, the fashion company decided to relaunch and finally goes online with the online store with Shopware 6.
gardeur Onlineshop with Shopware 6 in 3 months
scope01 – Internet agency from Frankfurt am Main – implemented the online store for gardeur in a project period of 3 months. At the beginning of the project, the conceptual basis was laid in workshops. In the design phase, our designer Felix Weihnacht developed an appealing web design that combines visual appeal and high usability tailored to the appropriate target group.
The frontend specialists at scope01 then integrated this design into Shopware. Close coordination between web design and frontend development as well as intensive testing ensured a successful integration.
In addition, scope01 developed a new interface from Shopware 6 to the ERP system SICSone for gardeur. This imports product inventories as well as exports orders from the store system to the ERP system. The use of vouchers and the returns process is also integrated into the interface.
Payment provider for the online store is CommDoo. Thus, customers can settle their purchases with the payment methods credit card, invoice, Sofortüberweisung and PayPal. For this purpose, scope01 has adapted the existing Shopware 6 plugin from CommDoo to the individual requirements. In addition, the Shopware plugins DHL, Trusted Shops, CleverReach are used for the connection. Customers can search for sales outlets for gardeur products via the Store Locator.
Further steps for the further development of the online store are already planned for the future.
