New saleschannel for Gardeur

g1920 as saleschannel in Shopware

Sales channels are the new possibility in Shopware 6 to realize self-sufficient online stores. Fashion manufacturer Gardeur from Mรถnchengladbach has used this sales channel option to create a new online store for premium pants. The new store g1920 offers the new collection of premium pants. scope01 has integrated this additional sales channel for Gardeur into the existing online store https://gardeur.com/, which was launched in 2021. The channel was set up in the existing Shopware 6 installation.

ADVANTAGES OF THE SHOPWARE SALESCHANNEL

The Shopware e-commerce software offers many options for implementing sales channels quickly and easily:

  • Each Shopware sales channel can have individual parameters and configurations. These include countries and languages, payment and shipping methods and much more.
  • Both the range (categories, products) and prices can be individual for each channel.
  • A new sales channel can also have an individual layout. And run under a separate domain (URL).
  • Customers can register across all channels as well as separately for each channel.
  • Orders run in the same software, but can be selected individually in Admin.

Shopware Saleschannel is also used outside of a separate online store. For example, to connect marketplaces or portals. Online stores can connect Google as a sales platform or price comparison portals such as billiger.de. Social media channels such as Instagram or Facebook are also ideal channels for selling products. Gardeur uses this opportunity to use Google Shopping as a new sales channel for its online store. This means that the products are visible in Google Shopping, among other places. The realization of further Shopware sales channels is already planned.

SHOPWARE AND SALES CHANNELS

In Shopware 5, separate sales channels were mostly implemented via subshops. With Shopware 6, the provider has fundamentally restructured the architecture of the store software. Administration (backend) and store frontend are now clearly separated. The storefront(s) are now managed via Shopware Saleschannel. This allows the store operator to quickly and easily connect other channels in addition to the classic frontend. In addition, data can also be made available via interfaces (API). This solution now offers the necessary flexibility for successful e-commerce businesses.
