The changes to the Shopware Store at a glance
Shopware has given the new store a graphical and functional overhaul. Shopware 5 plugins will now finally fade into the background after reaching EOL (end-of-life) in July 2024. The version 5 plugins can still be used via a slider in the store header. The current version 6 is selected by default. The compatibilities for individual Shopware sub-versions are now clearly displayed in a summary.

In the Shopware Store you will find an impressive selection of over 3000 extensions that have been specially developed for Shopware. Purchase, installation and integration in the Shopware Store
Installing plugins from the Shopware Store is very easy. Either you log in to the Shopware Store under Account, after selecting the store you will automatically be shown all plugins that are compatible with the version you are using. As a novelty, you can now directly display the compatibility with Shopware 5 or 6 in the header area. After purchasing the extension, you can download and install the plugin directly.
Regardless of the purchase in the store, you can still select and install extensions directly from your Shopware backend (Admin). To do this, go to the Extensions / Store area, where you will discover the whole variety of extensions.
Test and optimize plugins
It is important to test new solutions thoroughly to ensure that they work smoothly and meet your expectations. Use the 30-day trial period to try out all features and make any necessary adjustments. Most extensions offer detailed documentation and support options to help you integrate and use them. Prices and termination
Since the end of 2023, paid Shopware plugins can only be used in the rental model. On the one hand at a price per month with the option to cancel every month. Or at an annual price with a corresponding notice period and a discount compared to the monthly price. In any case, the test phase of 30 days is free of charge.
