The Shopware B2B Components offer an ideal set of extensions for the implementation of e-commerce requirements in trade between companies (Business 2 Business). These represent typical tasks in B2B commerce. The B2B Components are the successors to the B2B Suite, which is no longer being developed further. A migration from the B2B Suite to the B2B Components is being planned. In this article, we want to provide an overview of the current state of development.

Licenses B2B Components

Either the Shopware Evolve or Beyond plan is required to use the B2B Components. Use with the license-free Community Edition or the Shopware Rise plan is not possible. We will be happy to inform you about the license costs, which are calculated individually depending on the external sales (GMV).

Functions B2B Components

The following functions are currently available in the Shopware B2B Components:

  • Quick orders: Customers can speed up the ordering process by directly entering product numbers in a form or uploading a corresponding file. This eliminates the time-consuming process of adding individual products to a shopping cart. This makes the shopping process much faster for the customer.
  • Employee management: Customers can create employee accounts with roles and authorizations to implement individual ordering processes.
  • Quote management: Instead of ordering straight away, customers can request quotes in advance and negotiate individual prices.
  • Order approvals: Customers can create approval rules to manage order authorizations for their employees.
  • Shopping lists: Customers can collect products that they frequently access or that they would like to order at a later date. This makes recurring orders in particular much easier.

The solution is integrated into Shopware, which means that all Shopware features such as the Flow Builder, Rule Builder and User Management are also available.

Roadmap

There are still a few features on the roadmap for Shopware B2B Components, for example:

  • Mapping of complex purchasing processes
  • Migration from the B2B Suite
  • Digital sales rooms for the integration of sales / field service

Alternative

There is an alternative to the Shopware B2B Components with the complete solution B2B Sellers Suite. The B2B Sellers Suite can be used for all Shopware versions, including the Community Edition.
