We are pleased to present our latest reference: Curchod-Tools, a renowned supplier of precision tools and machines for trade and industry in Switzerland. Curchod AG is a 3rd generation family business located in the Zurich Oberland in Rüti ZH (Canton of Zurich). Curchod AG offers a wide range of products for the machining industry directly from stock. The main focus is on tools for turning, grooving, threading, milling, drilling, measuring and clamping.

We at scope01 have relaunched Curchod-Tools’ online store with Shopware 6 and equipped it with numerous B2B functions. Various innovative solutions were used to improve the shopping experience for Curchod-Tools’ customers and increase operational efficiency.

From online store to comprehensive e-commerce experience with Pimcore and scope01 standard interface

The first step was to completely rebuild the existing Curchod-Tools online store, as the project started by the previous agency was not working. With the PIM solution Pimcore, we were able to ensure centralized management of the product information and seamless integration of the data into the new online store. Thanks to the standard Pimcore interface for Shopware from scope01, implementation was quick and efficient.

Data enrichment with Pimcore Data Director and ERP integration

The article master data is imported from the ERP system into the store based on Shopware via an interface. From there, the data is transferred to Pimcore via our Pimcore PIM interface. In the Pimcore system, the data is enriched using the Data Director by adding additional information, for example from the manufacturers. The updated product information is then sent back to the store.

B2B Sellers Suite

We have implemented the B2B Sellers Suite to provide typical B2B functions in the Shopware online store. This suite offers customized solutions for B2B customers, such as:

- Mapping of companies and your organization in the online store with company groups and employee accounts
- Assignment of contact persons in back office and field service
- Release processes and approval procedures for orders
- Customized prices for customer
- Quick order and much more

We have also integrated the Smartsupp chat to enable direct communication with customers and thus improve customer service.

Efficient project implementation and worlds of experience

To shorten the project duration, we used a ready-made theme from the Shopware Store that was adapted to the needs of Curchod-Tools. Together with scope01, various worlds of experience were created that offer customers an interactive and appealing shopping experience.

By combining state-of-the-art technologies and customized solutions, we have developed a powerful B2B online store for Curchod-Tools. The integration of Pimcore, the use of the B2B Sellers Suite, as well as the connection to the ERP system SelectLine and the implementation of the Smartsupp chat help to increase efficiency and improve the shopping experience.
