Firnrohr, based in Arnsberg in the Sauerland region, specializes in automation technology, pneumatics and hydraulics. The focus is on the wholesale of products from these areas. Firnrohr also offers seminars on pneumatics, hydraulics, automation and PLC technology. Customers can now purchase these seminars online for several participants. The company also provides information about trade fairs and events where customers can meet Firnrohr.
The new B2B online store from Firnrohr Automation is live. In the course of the relaunch, the entire online presence was fundamentally revised. To this end, scope01 – an internet agency from Frankfurt am Main – developed a new design for the online store and integrated it into a store based on Shopware Professional Edition. The new online store has a wide range of functions and is of course easy to use on all devices (desktop, tablet, smartphone). The old web store was no longer able to meet today’s requirements for an e-commerce platform.
Based on Firnrohr’s specifications, our designer Felix Weihnacht developed a new design that represents the company in a fresh and modern way. scope01 carried out the setup on the web server, configured the store and integrated the design into the online store. In addition, all necessary Shopware plugins were set up and customized. The seminars are also managed via a plugin. A significant improvement over the previous website is the direct booking of seminars via the online store.
scope01 will continue to develop the new Firnrohr Automation B2B online store together with the customer over the next few months. The main tasks include connecting the ERP system Büro+ and displaying all products. In addition, scope01 will integrate an OCI interface for Firnrohr in order to integrate articles into supplier catalogs.
